Obama uses Newt to bash Mitt

To mark Newt Gingrich's departure from the race, Barack Obama's campaign puts out a pretty brutal ad, filled with clips from those months when Gingrich was accusing Romney of everything but being an octopus that pulled Jack Dawson down at the end of Titanic.

Some of Newt's quotes making it into the spot.

a. "As a man who wants to run for President of the United States who can't be honest with the American people, why should we expect him to level about anything if he's president?"

b. "You certainly have to say that Bain, at times, engaged in behavior where they looted a company leaving behind 1,700 unemployed people."

c. "I don't know of any American president who's had a Swiss bank account."

And like a Time-Life cd, the hits keep rolling.
