Romney debuts first TV ad of general election

And here it is -- Mitt Romney's first TV ad of the general election season.

It's a positive spot that imagines Day 1 of a Romney presidency, which would begin with approval of the Keystone Pipeline, the introduction of tax cuts that "reward job creators; not punish them", and an executive order on ObamaCare.

CNN reports that it's "at least" a $1.2 million buy and will run in Ohio ($506K), Iowa ($209K), Virginia ($187K), and North Carolina ($354K).

It's not a knockout ad, but liberal Morning Joe regular and well-coiffed adman, Donny Deutsch, said on MSNBC this morning that he thought it was a pretty good one.

There'll be plenty of time for Romney to travel to his wheelhouse argument -- that Barack Obama hasn't made good on his economic promises.
