The Miami Herald's Marc Caputo reports:
Mitt Romney is planning to hit up at least five fundraisers in Miami, Coral Gables, Tampa, Jacksonville and Boca Raton on Wednesday and Thursday of next week (May 16, 17).
Total fundraising goal: $5 million to $8 million for Romney Victory, Inc., a joint fundraising primarily composed of Romney’s campaign and the Republican National Committee.
The numbers may seem jaw dropping, but in a state where it costs at least $1 million a week to run a competitive ad campaign.
