CNN reports that Barack Obama's campaign is putting in another $150K into a buy for an ad, "Steel" hammering Mitt Romney's tenure at Bain Capital.
The campaign, which initially invested less than $100,000 last week for the initial run of the ad in Colorado, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia, announced this week it would buy more time for the commercial this week as part of its continued pushing of its Bain attack.
With the new buy, the commercial went up again Tuesday and will run through Friday in several Ohio and West Virginia markets: Youngstown, Toledo, Charleston-Huntington and Wheeling.
The dollar figure here isn't a big buy, at all, but it's telling that the Obama campaign is sticking with the Bain angle, and also, that they've expanded the Ohio buy.
Here's the ad.
