Sure, Jeb Bush said he wouldn't take VP in his appearance on CBS this morning, but he's said that a thousand times.
This exchange was far more interesting and pretty big -- he says that 2012 was probably the best moment for him to have run for president, but questions whether he could've won.
CHARLIE ROSE: Have you made the decision that you do not want to be president?
JEB: I've not made that decision, although there's a window of opportunity in life for all sorts of reasons, and this was probably my time.
Although I don't know, given kind of what I believe and how I believe it, I'm not sure I would have been successful as a candidate, either.
These are different times than just six years ago when I last ran.
Rose then told Bush that a lot of people thought he should've run for president in 2012, and Bush answered:
"You know, you never know. That's pure speculation and one thing I know for sure is you don't worry about could've, would've."
