Paul Ryan encouraged by Romney's polling

Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc), after being asked on Fox News this morning whether it was frustrating that Mitt Romney is only tied with Barack Obama in polls.

"It's not that frustrating to me. I think that's pretty good, because look at what we're dealing with.

We're dealing with an extremely well-funded president who has the bully pulpit, who has the ability to command the airwaves, he's done more fundraisers than most of his predecessors combined.

.... So the fact that we're running against a huge machine and Mitt Romney's still tied, I think that's pretty amazing."

He then called Wisconsin a "test case" that bode well for Romney and repeated his overall optimism.

"I think being tied at this stage, given what President Obama is doing and what Mitt Romney is up against as a challenger is pretty impressive."
