Pennsylvania's siren song

Larry Sabato, warning the Romney campaign about a big push for Pennsylvania this fall.

"Pennsylvania has suckered in a lot of Republicans through the years," he said, recalling how Bush adviser Karl Rove thought Bush could win there in 2000.

"For all I know, there's some naive person in the Romney campaign whose biting on the line and getting ready to be reeled in."

In 2008, Barack Obama successfully baited John McCain into a final Hail Mary for the state, and McCain lost by 10%.

So far, the Romney campaign hasn't indicated they'll play hard for the state, but they've run ads and seem inclined to at least remain in the conversation for a few more months.
