Mitt Romney on Fox News last night, once again confirmed the secrecy around the Veep vetting process and, also, his wife's role in the conversation.
"Even Ann doesn't know. We talk about the possible people that I might select, but in terms of who's actually being vetted, that's something only two people know, and [adviser] Beth Myers doesn't talk."
It would've strained credulity to claim that he and Ann don't talk about potential Veeps, and now that we know they do, it's time to track every little thing Ann does for clues.
For example: Does a failure to yield on a green light mean Ann is predisposed toward edginess and Chris Christie as Veep?
Does buying Lucerne milk mean she favors a down-to-earth pick like Tim Pawlenty?
If she wears a Purdue hat at every stop, is this good news for Mitch Daniels?
