Romney has raised $4.2 million since ruling

Andrea Saul, spokeswoman for Mitt Romney, claims that Romney's campaign has now raised $4.2 million on over 42,000 donations.

That last number is critical, because it shows that Mitt's bid for the White House is now resonating with activists who were already going to vote for him, but not campaign for him.

Again, as Romney's adviser Stuart Stevens said yesterday, this is a "big shot of energy" for the Romney campaign.
