Mitt Romney still remains undecided on whom to pick for his running mate, his wife, Ann, told ABC News in an interview set to air Thursday.
"We're not quite there yet," Ann Romney said. "We are certainly talking a lot. This last week, this last weekend, there was a lot of discussion."
.... Ann Romney did say that the decision would be coming "soon."
"There was a lot of talk. We're not quite there yet. And we're going to be there soon," she said.
To tie this to an earlier story I blogged about today, some have speculated that Ann isn't too keen on the idea of Chris Christie for Veep.
The NY Times:
.... some took it as a clear sign that he [Christie] will not be picked when Ann Romney said in an interview that she expected her famously button-down husband to select a running mate with the “same personality type.”
Once the book is written on this race, it'll be fascinating to see how much Ann influenced Mitt on the decision.
