On Fox News this morning, GOP strategist and analyst, Ed Rollins, suggested that Mitt Romney pick Florida Sen. Marco Rubio as his running mate.
"Rubio's an extraordinary candidate, I think, for the simple reason he does a double for you.
One is he helps make up the 250,000 gap that Obama beat McCain by in Florida, his homestate.
And equally as important, he's a young, dynamic, Hispanic, Cuban-American that basically could help us with a constituency that we don't have today.
.... I'd pick Rubio. I think that would be a very exciting choice. We don't win Florida, we don't win the game."
