Rob Portman told ABC News that he had six meetings in six hours yesterday with key members of Mitt Romney's campaign, but went mum when asked about meeting with Beth Myers.
Asked specifically if he had met with Myers, Portman did not deny that he had.
“Oh, I’ve seen pretty much all of them, you know, at one time or another,” said Portman.
Myers is heading Mitt Romney's search for a vice-presidential candidate, so there are obvious implications for their potential meeting.
In related news, Portman for Veep hit an all-time high of 32% on the Intrade betting market earlier today.
