The fact that RNC Chair Reince Priebus said this to a Pennsylvania paper makes it a little less meaningful, but it's still at least setting an expectation of an effort.
Priebus said the national committee is eyeing Pennsylvania has a state it can win, and plans to "spend a whole boatload of resources."
"It can be the knock out punch," he said in a phone interview. "If we can win, which we can do, then it’s lights out for Barack Obama.
According to TPM's poll tracker, Obama is averaging a 7.2% lead in the state.
