Mitt Romney is appearing at a lumber supplier in New Hampshire today to campaign with homestate Senator Kelly Ayotte.
Quite a few have noted that today is probably the last chance Romney has to announce a Veep before heading overseas next week, but the overwhelming consensus is that he won't announce a pick until after the Olympics.
In the exceedingly remote chance he might have done so today, that's surely been snuffed out by the Colorado news.
UPDATE: CNN's John Berman says Romney will address the shootings at the event today.
