"I can tell you -- I'm not going to announce it this week. While I'm overseas, I'm not going to announce my vice-presidential running mate.... it's [selection] not made yet, but I can't tell you when it's going to be."
Btw, Hope Solo is not constitutionally eligible to be Mitt's dark horse, surprise female pick. She also carries some baggage (btw, read this story, which basically confirms the worst about our general attitude that coming out on top absolves you of everything bad you did-- the writer makes the case that Solo can only find redemption through winning, because that will prove her mind isn't distracted by allegedly lying about a doping test).
