Romney strategist dismisses Murdoch's shakeup suggestion

Eric Fehrnstrom, a top strategist for Mitt Romney, told MSNBC today that the campaign wouldn't heed Rupert Murdoch's advice and shake-up its campaign staff.

"We're happy with the team that we have. We're happy with the state of the race. I can't respond to every tweet that Mr. Murdoch sends out, but we like the way things are."

If you remember, on Sunday, Murdoch tweeted:

Met Romney last week. Tough O Chicago pros will be hard to beat unless he drops old friends from team and hires some real pros. Doubtful.

This morning, Murdoch sent a follow-up tweet after some blowback.

Romney people upset at me! Of course I want him to win, save us from socialism, etc but should listen to good advice and get stuck in!

Here's Fehrnstrom on MSNBC.
