A vintage rollout

Flashback: In his 1988 speech introducing Dan Quayle as his Veep choice, George H.W. Bush referred to Quayle as "young" no less than three times in about three sentences, and twice Bush refers to "the future".


"Dan Quayle's a man of the future -- a young man. A young man born in the middle of his century and from the middle of America. He's a dynamic young leader for the future."
