A new Rasmussen Reports poll shows Mitt Romney leading Barack Obama in the battleground of Iowa, 46%-44%.
This trims Obama's lead in the state to a statistically meaningless 1%, in the RCP average of Iowa polls.
If you pare left-leaning Public Policy Polling surveys from that equation, the race has been separated by 2% or less since February.
PPP has produced Obama leads of 5% and 10% in that time, which appear to be severe outliers.
But the big question -- will Romney's position on the wind tax credit hurt him in a state that loves its wind tax credits?
