Krauthammer: Tea Party isn't an insurgency anymore

Charles Krauthammer argues that the tea party has gradually morphed into becoming the ideological wing of the Republican party.

Another way of saying it? "Tea party" is starting to become what "conservative" used to mean.

"I think we really are beginning to see two kinds of party establishments, and what we're seeing is that the tea party has gone from insurgency, from being unorganized, disorganized, spontaneous and powerful ..... to, essentially, representing the more ideological wing of the party."

Krauthammer then commented on the Ted Cruz win, and said it was thanks to what's becoming the most potent electoral combo for Republicans.

"When you have that combination of ideological zeal and a good candidate, you win."
