John McCain, on Fox News last night, making the case that the press will be continually making the case for Obama.
"I think the media bias towards President Obama is just something we have to accept. It's just the air we breathe in the political environment."
He then praised Mitt Romney's international trip and finished with another fatalistic sigh.
"It [media bias] is what it is, and people like you can bring it to the American people's attention, but honestly, I don't think it's going to change.
It's just going to have to be part of the what the Romney campaign is going to have to put up with."
That last sentence is exactly the kind of defeatist mindset that conservatives hammered McCain for in his own presidential run.
