Mika Brzezinski: Obama campaign is lying about cancer ad

Mika Brzezinski on Morning Joe this morning, responding to the Obama campaign's claim that it had no involvement with or idea about the specifics behind a pro-Obama Super PAC's TV ad linking Mitt Romney to a woman's death from cancer.

"There's no price to pay, because they can say 'Well, I don't know the details'. You know what, at least on this show, that's just not going to pass. They're not telling the truth."

Then, once again:

"They're not telling the truth."

If you remember, Stephanie Cutter -- Obama's deputy campaign manager -- went on CNN yesterday and claimed the campaign had nothing to do with the ad and didn't even know the facts surrounding the spot (facts, that many have noted are "dishonest" and "scurrilous", as Time's Michael Crowley described it).

Cutter:

"You do know that we don't have anything to do with Priorities USA.... I don't know the facts of when Joe Soptic's wife got sick or when she did."
