Portman doesn't have VP app

If Rob Portman were picked to be vice-president, presumably, he wouldn't find out via an app.

But still....

Sen. Rob Portman said he hasn’t downloaded Romney’s VP app, the tool the GOP presidential candidate plans to use to announce his vice presidential pick.

“I probably should,” Portman told reporters Thursday. “I’ve got too many apps on my iPad already.”

The app promises users they'll be "the first to find out" whom Mitt picks, which is true only in the sense that you'll hear about the Veep announcement at the same time as everyone else who's downloaded the app.

If you remember, earlier this week, Marco Rubio promoted the app from his twitter handle.
