I'm about 12 hours late to this, but Ohio is Ohio and every poll there is important.
A Rasmussen Reports poll shows a dead, 45%-45% heat between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. That's the best number for Romney in the state since May when he actually led very narrowly.
I wouldn't pay too much attention, though, to the tied number. Instead, look at Obama -- the incumbent -- only cracking 45% support. Since undecideds tend to break for the challenger, the president needs to be higher than 45%.
That being said, all the normal outlier caveats apply since Obama is leading Romney by 4% in the RCP average of Ohio polls.
