Via BuzzFeed, here's Mitt Romney today during a Q & A with reporters, surprisingly changing the conversation at a time when it was going just swimmingly for him.
"I did go back and look at my taxes, and over the past ten years, I never paid less than 13%.
In the most recent year, it was 13.6% or something like that. Pay taxes every single year. Harry Reid's charge is totally false."
This will hijack headlines for a few cycles, and put Romney squarely in the defensive again, as Democrats trot out that 13% number, which face it, isn't a great political number for Romney.
In fact, some have even called 13 "unlucky".
