On Morning Joe today, Joe Scarborough said a real, national party leader would force Rep. Todd Akin out of the Missouri Senate race after his controversial rape comments.
Scarborough:
"If George W. Bush is the nominee and Karl Rove's the political operative, Akin's announcing his retirement at lunch today, right? Rove would never put up with this. Ever. Ever.
So is this not a real challenge for Mitt Romney to prove what kind of leader he is?"
