Rubio to stump for Romney in North Carolina

Curious to see if he slips south of the border to make a courtesy call to early 2016 primary state, South Carolina.

Sen. Marco Rubio -- one of the GOP's rising stars -- is scheduled to be in Charlotte on Wednesday afternoon for a Romney-Ryan "Victory Rally," The Charlotte Observer reports. The Florida Republican will speak to Mitt Romney supporters at 1:45 p.m. at SteelFab, Inc., 8623 Old Dowd Road, according to an email from the Romney campaign.

By the way, if you're ever journeying from North to South Carolina, stop by the utterly awful and wonderful South of the Border attraction near Dillon, South Carolina for a pit stop.

Go there and while you wonder at the Sombrero Tower and Pedroland, keep this in mind -- to help pay his way through Harvard, Ben Bernanke once donned a poncho and worked there. I'm not sure if that explains QEForever or not, but both are pretty inscrutable.
