Allen West: Jobs report kind of reminds me of Libya controversy

Florida Rep. Allen West, making the link whilst jousting on CNBC this afternoon over his claim that today's jobs reports numbers were manipulated by the White House to show a lower unemployment rate.

West:

"Don't challenge my intelligence, because -- I tell you -- it wasn't too long ago that we were being told that a video was the impetus for this spontaneous attack that ended up killing an ambassador, so there are a lot of questions that come out of this administration.

I'm not talking about impeachment, I just want someone to come clean with the process and methodology, because there are a lot of inconsistencies."

Here's my thing with all this -- if you really thought the Administration was cooking things, why not cook it the day after the Democratic convention? Can you imagine the bounce off Convention plus 7.8% Unemployment Rate?

But instead it was a very bleak report that Friday which brought, as CNN wrote then, an "end to Democrats' convention high."

Earlier today, West took to Facebook to make the initial charge.

I agree with former GE CEO Jack Welch, Chicago style politics is at work here. Somehow by manipulation of data we are all of a sudden below 8 percent unemployment, a month from the Presidential election. This is Orwellian to say the least and representative of Saul Alinsky tactics from the book "Rules for Radicals"- a must read for all who want to know how the left strategize . Trust the Obama administration? Sure, and the spontaneous reaction to a video caused the death of our Ambassador......and pigs fly.
