Brett O'Donnell: Romney "went down wrong path" on Libya in debate

Mitt Romney's former debate coach, Brett O'Donnell on Fox News, echoing conservative sentiment on Mitt Romney's miss on Libya in last night's debate (emphasis added).

"There was a big moment that was maybe the decisive moment of the debate last night was the Libya exchange, and on that exchange Governor Romney's right, he's got the facts on his side.

The problem was he tried to litigate it on one word or the words in the Rose Garden, rather than looking at the overall picture, and so we really didn't get a sense of what happened in the timeline, and just how long it took for the administration to call the specific attack in Libya an 'act of terrorism'.

On that point, I thought he should have really stuck to the overall picture of what happened  in Benghazi rather than trying to litigate out what happened in the Rose Garden. I thought that's where he really, kind of, went down the wrong path."
