On Fox News this morning, veteran GOP strategist Ed Rollins noted just how tough it is to beat an incumbent president, but nevertheless, tagged Mitt Romney as the guy to do it.
"Once people saw Reagan in the debate, all of a sudden the tide turned, and he won a dramatic landslide. This could happen this time, too.
I'm not predicting a landslide, but I am predicting a victory."
By the way, Rollins has been anything but a partisan prognosticator during this election.
In fact, just before the first Romney vs. Obama debate, he said the race would be "over" if Romney didn't clean Obama's clock, so today's comments are pretty noteworthy.
Here he was giving the do-or-die ultimatum for Romney before the first debate...
