VA Gov. Bob McDonnell, after being asked on Fox News this morning if -- thanks to Hurricane Sandy -- Virginia has seen the last of Obama and Romney rallies in the state.
"Oh, heck, no. .... They're not done. There's eight days left. This is a battleground state. I expect to see the candidates back. I certainly hope to see Governor Romney back a couple times before we're done."
Both the Obama and Romney campaign canceled campaign events in Virginia over the weekend.
