Obama: I'm just an "okay" debater

Barack Obama, talking to a crowd in Nevada and lowering expectations for his performance in Wednesday night's debate.

"Governor Romney, he's a good debater. I'm just ok."

No matter how he tries, it'll be tough for Obama to succeed at lowering expectations (to wit: voters by 56%-29% think he'll win the first debate).

He's, by far, seen as more likable and a better communicator than Romney, and there've been endless stories about Mitt's troubles connecting with voters.

Naturally, then, people will expect the president to be the better debater, which is why Romney has already won the lowering expectations game.
