Palin: Ryan needs to "watch his back" after the debate

As someone who's debated Joe Biden before, Sarah Palin gives Paul Ryan a little advice for navigating a post-debate world.

Palin on FNC:

"After the debate, Paul Ryan just needs to watch his back. That's my advice."

So she's warning him about Democrats, right?

No, she seems to be warning him about Republicans looking for a scapegoat if things go awry on November 6 (she just might be drawing a comparison to her experience).

"If things don't go his way, people will be looking for a scapegoat, and I hope that people have learned over the last four years, that that doesn't do anybody any good is to throw candidates under the bus when they did their best, they stood on their record.... and then that inside baseball crap starts getting played out."

Actually, Palin didn't get heat for her debate performance (which was actually very good). It was the other moments that took a toll.
