Here's a new ad from the pro-Romney Super PAC, Restore Our Future.
The spot is accompanied by a $1.2 million buy, and will play in Wisconsin, beginning today and ending on October 10.
Things have looked a bit bleaker in the Badger State for Romney, post-Democratic convention.
A new Marquette University Law school poll puts Obama up, 53%-32%, in the state, buttressed by a huge 61%-36% lead among women. Men, however, preferred Romney by 5%.
Those gender numbers are realistic. Wisconsin had one of the most dramatic gender gaps in the nation in 2008. Women picked Obama by 15%, while men supported McCain by 1%.
So as you watch this ad, think about how and whether it might drive down support for Obama among women in the state. If it can't, it'll be hard for Romney to make up the gender gap.
