According to a new Quinnipiac University survey, New York City voters were more impressed with Chris Christie's handling of Hurricane Sandy than his political peers (including the city's own mayor).
1. Chris Christie 36%
2. Barack Obama 22%
3. Andrew Cuomo 15%
4. Michael Bloomberg 12%
If that sounds bleak for Bloomberg, it's not really too bad. All four guys got strong approval ratings on their Sandy management.
89% called Christie's performance "good" or "excellent", while 85% said the same for Cuomo, Obama picked up an 84% rating, and Bloomberg a solid 74%.
From a 2016 perspective, it's important to note that the hurricane did not hit Iowa's 5th Congressional District.
