Adam Smith points out that Barack Obama won a smaller share of votes in 58 of 67 Florida counties this year compared with 2008, and particularly in Palm Beach County.
Obama won Palm Beach by a whopping 102,000 votes, but that's about 30,000 less than his margin of victory four years ago. Nowhere in Florida did Obama's vote share drop as much as it did in Palm Beach.
So why did Obama's support in Palm Beach fall off so sharply? My guess -- it's the wealthiest county in Florida.
