KY Sen. Rand Paul confirms what everyone already knew when he endorsed Mitt Romney.
JON KARL: 2016 -- is there gonna be another Paul for President campaign?
PAUL: That's classified, I can't tell you that.... you know, I want to be part of the national debate. I think it's a little too soon to talk about who's going to run and who's not going to run, and to tell you the truth, I don't know what's going to come. Am I interested in thinking about that? Yes.... Am I ready to make the decision now? No.
Paul has cast himself as a more mainstream, palatable version of his dad, but there's no doubt that the Paul name still gives him significant advantages and disadvantages in a GOP primary.
It's enough to get him firmly into the conversation, but he's got to delete the prevailing impression with many mainstream GOPers that it's just as a Comic Sans font.
He'll do well in Iowa, but where's his breakout state?
